CdC, that question for me?
The classmate's kid gets his drug money from several sources: a) weekly allowance (large), b) working at a Tedeschi's (chain mini-market) and c) boosting home electronics? (he's got a B&E record, although he's a juvenile and that slate gets wiped clean on his 18th birthday....)Maybe I should say HIS HOME electronics..........ar-ar-ar. Every time they get a new (and obviously larger) flat-screen, it seems to be a "replacement"---h-m-m-m-m-mm-m.
I've just got to reread David Horowitz' "The Sixties: The Destructive Generation"....it really explains it all. What a pustulating, sad and lamentable decade that was! Seems The Greatest Generation* made it safe for a 10-15 year tantrum amongst their spoiled offspring.
DEA stats were cited somewhere on the 'Net----I can't remember where----but "recreational" drug-use is absolutely saturative.......wall-to-wall in this nation. Gawd knows, YURP must be just as bad. I love the Afghanis----they make millions off American druggies, yet punish their own rather (ahem) users severely......seems they know more about it than our permissive countrymen.
*wonder if Tom Brokenjaw served ONE FRIGGIN' DAY in the military? Marxist swine hiding behind the heroic sacrifice of others.......
Thus ends this hour's curmudgeonly rant!....ar-ar-ar.
Yippa daing!!!!!
