A reasonable post by you with only a little liberal, "Smoothover". IN BOLD, RED.
One of the major democrat gripes about Bush was increasing the National Debt from $5 trillion to $10 trillion in EIGHT YEARS. Obama Has already asked to MORE than Double it in less than 100 days. NOT ASKED, DEMANDED.
And you call that, "seems to be heading!":JEKYLHYDE:D
Aside from that, I agree, all the politicians need to be replaced. I have never been for term limits, but now it looks like a constant turn over of rookies is less onerous than the 'entrenched' power abuses we see today.
One term Senate, 3 terms in the House, 6 years is plenty. NO crossovers.

Dan,
I don't like where it is now, and I don't like where it looks like it is going. However, since where it is going has not happend yet it seems a little silly to cry over milk that might be spilled. It makes more sense to try to prevent that milk from spilling (or in this case, even letting it out of the fridge might be too much!). I've already sent emails to my 'reps', telling them what I think of this 'plan'. Feel free to do the same.
Also, before trying to insult me again please do some research on the difference between a classical liberal and a neo lib. The difference between them is like night and day. I agree with most of the tenets of the former, but disagree with most of the tenets of the latter.

If you find what I said insulting, you are wearing some really thin skin.
There was no insult intended. Hence the addition of the :JEKYLHYDE and :D

I was actually talking about the liberal smoothover comment. I am not a new style liberal, though to me your comment indicated that you do not understand what that means. I will not defend anybody when I think they are doing the wrong thing. That goes for Obama as well as Bush.
I get insulted and called a lot of names on this forum - if I was thin-skinned I would have run away a long time ago. If someone takes a swing at me I am the type to hit back, though I understand it is no longer in vogue.
No worries.;)
