Hillary in Mexico......

......well, for one thing, I'd wish she'd STAY souf' of the border. None-the-foo-keen-less, what that hyper-toxic B*TCH said, re the drug trade was (unfortunately) right on the money. She laid a lot of the drug-cartel problems right at the feet of the US's "insatiable demand for illegal drugs". Hard to argue with that.

Even in comparatively rustic Olde Cappe Codde, with its roarin' metropolis of Hyannis, the mid-day "post-hah-skew" crowd (which makes visits to the mall such an "adventure") is cranked out on stuff from 10 to 10. Screeching, spitting, swearing, fighting. Yay! But at least they dress well, eh? They ought to make it into a Disney "America's FutureWorld" exhibit. This is no doubt the same crowd that helps itself to the contents of "summer peoples'" houses. Oh, joy unbeknownst.

Hillary right on something? What's the world coming to?

That was an easy one for her Freddie. The U.S. has long been the top drug consuming nation in the world. They showed a special on Hollywood several months ago and almost every one of those so called stars have designer drugs laid out in their houses in plain sight for parties and visitors. Nothing is done because they have money and the police can't touch them.

It's too bad things are the way they are now a days. Mexico has become even a more toxic place, Bad cops, bad military, drugs everywhere along with murders in public places.......WOW! Sounds like the USA, (except our military is the best there is).

It's true, rich people, corrupt politics and the leftcoast folks all think were just fine.

....a totally anonymous survey of local (Taxachussets) citizens UNDER the age of 30. Repeat: UNDER the age of 30. The only item on the survey was to state the frequency with which the respondent used illegal drugs. Nothing about alcohol, tobacco or prescripotion drugs (no matter to whom prescribed). Nothing about how acquired, how much or what type of drugs, etc. JUST how frequently.

Incredibly, it panned out, mathematically, that over 47% used drugs on a regular basis AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.

Many volunteered what type of drug. Marijuana, of course topped the list. Cocaine and a whole (dazzling!) array of others were listed.

Even if you discount 40+% or so for B.S. or braggadocio, and the like, it still indicates a very unhealthy c. 25% of our youts use drugs frequently/regularly. On a follow-up of the survey, most of the professional/medical/psychological "experts" indicated that this 25% was accurate AND that it was rock-solid and immutable-----VERY likely to resist any and all kinds of therapeutic or corrective efforts.

Time to go back and reread Gibbon's "Decline and Fall", I guess.

As for the relative guilt of America v.s. Mexico, I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder. But I think the one true test is that America's drug addiction existed BEFORE Mexico took such an active and profitable role. It's also presumed that, if we cut off Mexico, the drugs would come in from somewhere else!

Freddie,

Before Mexico became such a big player in the drug markets it was the Columbian Cartels. And a large amount came from Afghanistan via various routes. As long as our dumbed down society continues to demand them, they will get them here. I still can't believe they can get so much for marijuana as much of it as there is around here and as easy as it is to get.
