It's sad that Cheney has health issues - I'd love the watch him run against BO in 2012 - an Adult against God knows what.

W has obviously elected to do the right thing and butt out - at least for now......

The latest....FBI, NYPD Arrest 4 in Alleged Plot to Bomb NY Synagogues

The 'why can't we all get along" attitude of the BO administration is is going to get someone killed someday. There is simply no way that Muslims are going to back off.

The dark lord will never die, he sucks the blood of his torture victims to sustain his evil existence.

jmimac351 05-21-2009 05:03 PM

Dick Cheney is an American hero and patriot and we will be lucky if liberalism doesn't result in a lot of Americans getting killed. We never would have imagined terrorists would fly planes into the WTC and now, unbelievably, we have leadership who are actively trying to weaken our defenses.

I though the President could only serve two terms..

I don't think he can run again, or maybe it is 3 consecutive terms...in which case...bring it on...lets roll....

cobra de capell 05-21-2009 05:28 PM

No, Cheney can run for POTUS - it's only the POTUS that's limited to two terms - probably a good thing.

Here's what I would like to see - get the truth from her......it's probably too late...

I understand Cheney's speech was scheduled some time ago. Wonder why Obamamama decided to speak today? He just doesn't get it! These fanatical bastards just want to kill Americans. If just one American life is spared I say do what ever is necessary to get the inteligence we need. I read somewhere if attaching battery terminals to a terrorist's balls, just remember red is positive and black is negative and make sure his balls are wet!

I'm all for pulling ALL our guys out of Gitmo.

Just leave the Terrorist there, locked up.

To use some "fair minded language"

I thought he was the President but in any case we can agree on enhanced methods for Nancy....and Harry...hummm.... Nancy and Harry, sound like a very bad movie...

One of the finest 'slap-downs' by a VP ever!, 'O'NO!'s claim to fame will be his perpetual campaign rhetoric...........

cobra de capell 05-22-2009 09:28 AM

Just think, all that Cheney did was state historical facts in a straight forward way - that's all it took to smack-down BO on this day.

Next year will be transformational once again - more Republicans need to get elected to Congress to stop the madness.

427 S/O 05-22-2009 10:31 AM

That's very likely, the way things are going (down hill), we will see a huge shift in his approval if there is no substantial economic improvement by fall. By then folks will have had a belly full of no jobs, no prospect of jobs, continued business closings and out of control spending. Be prepared.

cobra de capell 05-22-2009 11:19 AM

The results in CA - all but one proposition failed is very telling - people don't want more taxes, they want less spending at all levels. BO is doing just the opposite of that, big time.

It's more than passingly strange that the federal government is growing - spending, federal employees and programs but states are now having to cut back on spending, employees and programs. I just cannot envision that Congress and Senate nominees who want to continue the spending and growth of the federal government can be elected or re-elected at the state district or state level - it's really local, not national and the chickens are coming home to roast - they are huge, angry chickens this time around.

C d C .... I agree ... and also slightly disagree . We need to elect true Conservatives , be they Repubs , Dems or Libertarians . From what I`ve seen recently , a lot of Republicans act like anything but Conservative . Better yet , maybe we need some real Federalists in power .
Yes , I think once the people wake up , the you know what will hit the fan . I only hope it isn`t too late for my Republic .

cobra de capell 05-23-2009 09:07 AM

True - Conservative Republicans, not just Republicans.

As for Libertarians, I suppose that is possible locally.

As for Democrat (Conservatives) - can one be found?

I find myself more and more inclined to not be a Republican. On the other hand, I believe that the Republican Party has the only shot at stopping the madness.

Agreed.

There are no "Conservative" Dems, meaning down the line Conservative. There are Dems that will support 1 or two traditionally Conservative beliefs. It's not uncommon to see a fair number of Dems support gun owner rights. Lots of blue collar "working class" union workers own firearms.

If the party of John F. Kennedy still existed today as the Democratic party the Democratic party would be less of a threat to the traditional values of this country. That party is no more and they are putting our country at risk. The hippies of the 60's are now in charge and they are no different now than they were back then.
