Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure!
Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)
Page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None.

Not that the 5 FREEDOMS lost in the Health Care Lie aren't important. But this health care BS is just another step along the path to total control and the ELIMINATION of the AMERICAN REPUBLIC. I believe that more and more each day that the questions of his past associations are coming back to haunt us. He might well be the "MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE" in reality.

We do not really need to read the Health Care Bill to know its bad. When ALL who recommend it LIE constantly about it, it is obviously a bad bill. Just weeks ago 30 million Americans had no access to health care! That IS a lie, but its the number they used. Then it became 45 million with no access to health care. Another LIE. Now its 50 million with no access to health care. The lie is not in the number [they'll go to 500 million if they thought that would work] The lie is in the "no access to health care." The number of Americans with no access to health care in this country is ZERO. Some do not have health INSURANCE for financial or personal choice decisions. But they can get all the health care they need. The truly poor are covered by MEDICAID. The ones a little better off have to go bankrupt if they run up a large health care bill. What does that do? They KEEP their house, they keep their car, they lose the unpaid health care bill. [AND ALL their other bills] If they had a little savings, they lose that. Had they bought insurance, they wouldn't have the savings anyway. Life is hard. Fair is what the county puts on each year.

The LIARS talk about how much better health care is in other countries. Every American with an operating brain KNOWS that is a lie.

What they want is to NATIONALIZE the insurance companies like they did the banks and investments industry. Also they want to control ACCESS to health care. They do not want to FIX anything. It is just another step along the road to a complete TOTALITARIAN Government and the elimination of FREEDOM.

There is no doubt that we are going down the wrong road. In 1929, the U.S. government was spending 3 percent of gross domestic product. Obama's first budget will consume 28 percent of the entire GDP; state and local governments another 15 percent. While there is some overlap, in 2009, government will consume 40 percent of GDP, approaching the peak of World War II.

The deficit for 2009 is $1.8 trillion, 13 percent of the whole economy. Obama is pushing a cap-and-trade bill to cut carbon emissions that will impose huge costs on energy production, spike consumer prices and drive production offshore to China. The pending health care bill will take over 16% of the GDP, add to the deficit and explode the federal debt over time.

When the government consumes close to 50% of the GDP, one is residing in a Socialist state. That's on track to happen by the end of Obama's first term.

In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson called George III a tyrant for having "erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance."

What did George III do with his Stamp Act, Townshend Acts or tea tax to compare with what is being done to this generation of Americans by their own government?

A follow up on my post above about the number of Americans having no access to health care. That number is ZERO, BY LAW. And I should not have said "Americans!" ANYONE in this Nation, citizen, illegal, tourist, terrorist, Martian, that presents themselves to or is brought into ANY Emergency Room at any hospital in the US, MUST be treated BY LAW, regardless of their ability to pay.

So WHY do the libs. constantly harp [and lie] about "access to health care?"

That question alters the reason for health care reform – it’s not about reforming health care, it’s about controlling another segment of the GDP.

Why on earth would we basically blow up an excellent system? Yes, it’s getting a little pricey for some but that can be dealt with, big time, by tweaking the delivery system, allowing COBRA coverage to extend to the point a person secures new employment, allowing the spouse of someone on Medicare to also be on Medicare before age 65, allowing someone 55 or older that has lost his/her job to be on Medicare (at least temporarily, addressing pre-condition scenarios, etc.

The really poor get Medicaid, the really old get Medicare. The really lame and stupid have ready access to clinics and emergency rooms at hospitals – even illegal aliens. Those in the 20-30 age group (millions) don’t generally have a big need for health care – they don’t want to pay for it, anyway.

Problem – what problem? Around 100-200 tweaks will make it right with the cost to the federal government (us) zero. Problem solved – move on to energy – drill, clean coal – another problem solved for now.
