What happened to the Obama supporters?

Where did they go? Seemed they were in this forum screaming about how great Obama was going to be, but I do not see them here anymore.

Mike,

I think they headed to Alabama to regroup and try again.

Ron

Well, Cobra (space) Bill it turns out is the only real, hard-left, Obama supporter left posting and he's 'challenged' when it comes to putting words up. Jamo has been assisting him. Another service offered by our moderator group.

Possibly why people voted for Obama.....

“Vote for me and I will offer you instant exemption from all prior racial guilt — and yet allow you to live your rather secluded lives as usual.”

I really cannot think of any other reason, given his negatives.

It's not working out.

bomelia 07-29-2009 11:42 AM

Wasn't there someone named Earnie advocating Obama? From Hawaii I think?

Mike

jhv48 07-29-2009 11:53 AM

I think they are all quietly buying guns, ammo and canned goods.

cobra de capell 07-29-2009 12:00 PM

Excaliber was a huge Obama supporter - he got mad and stopped posting, for now.

4RE KLR 07-29-2009 01:44 PM

Mike,
They are all prolly(:)) in that "Oh ****, What have I Done" mode.

FWB 07-29-2009 02:32 PM

they were all waiting for their mortgages to be paid, but now they're homeless.

You would think he'd be happy. Glad to gloat. I would not blame him. I would be gloating if Obama had lost. I seriously do not think Excalibur is dissapointed in his choice. So, I would be interested to know his take on all of this.

Right after he won there were Obama stickers on cars everywhere. I notice fewer of them now though. Maybe some people are coming to their senses?

I agree, especially right after the election up through January of this year.

Only the "space" is left here to defend Obama, but he works for the government - probably assigned by the government to this site to promote anything that Obama says of does.

Could be, but the next time you see a fading "Obama 08" bumpersticker, put one of these next to it:

October-1881 07-29-2009 05:10 PM

At the fourth of July parade last year, the Democratic party had a big Obama sign and banner proclaiming the strength of the Democratic party. Lots of people following with all the usual party BS. Change and hope...etc. Lots of applause and cheers. This year there were two people carrying a banner for the Demo party and that was it. They got no applause.
Of course I had to yell at them "how's that hope and change working out for you now?" This year I got the applause. Seems the po folks are learning the hard way and those us, the responsible ones, are just paying more. The guy's a dope but not as big a dope as the fools that bought his BS.

SP01715 07-29-2009 05:11 PM

That would be great CDC!!!:3DSMILE:

I realise there are strong party lines in USA. People can get carried away arguing the toss simply because their party didn't win. But the problem is beyond that.

Even us here all the way in South Africa are directly effected by what happens in USA.

Believe it or not our government are passing laws which are directly related to what is happening in USA. The plot is far more insidious than you could ever imagine.

I would strongly suggest that you don't just get caught up in periphery arguments and investigate fully with an open mind the bigger picture. Start by investigating the committee of 300.

I believe I am a logical thinker. I drive a Cobra. I like nuts and bolts.

I have spent some time studying this and the facts are far worse than fiction. The facts involve the placement of many presidents from both major parties. Some may think Ron Paul is a nut, Im not promoting him by any means or suggesting him for office, but just listen up!

There is no point in me putting forward my arguments it would simply spark conspiracy bunk as a reply. Rather if you are truly interested in what's going on do some research yourself. It WILL shock you!

here is a teaser!

what do you think of this

HR 875 (known as “Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009”) is a US bill presently being pushed through congress that will make Organic, and Family Farms, as well as back yard gardening of vegetables, Illegal. This is to control all the food U.S. citizens have to buy and eat. Americans would essentially be forced to only eat corporately manufactured, chemically treated, hermetically sealed, irradiated fruits and vegetables.

bomelia 07-30-2009 10:03 AM

This does not look like such a bad organization!

RMD,

Back yard vegetables will be fine... as long as you don't try to sell them.

Congratulations. You are experiencing the propoganda backlash from very, very profitable large food corporations that do not want to be bothered by safety regulations. Much the same as very, very profitable healthcare corporations do not want to be bothered with new healthcare regulations. So they are bombarding the gullible masses with scary BS to thwart it all. And it is working. It always does and I suppose it always will. :JEKYLHYDE

We, the people, are apparently miserable at, and incapable of, governing ourselves ...because that would be evil government interference ...interference from we, the people ...who are the government. We are obviously much better off being ruled, I mean governed, by brilliant deregulated corporations and their lobbyists. So all the protection of the populace from overeager, shrewd, well-funded predators doesn't work ...and citizens deserve what they get ...the nice warm fake impression that they've won, after it all blows over. But, relax, it's not a conspiracy. It's more of a coalition. There's a difference. But not hardly much. ;)

=============

Mike,

The Committee of 300 does not seem dangerous to me either. Good guys, actually...

Buzz,

That was good. Fabianists?? I haven't heard reference to Fabian since high school. :3DSMILE:
