Default Cat got your tongue ?

Gee...it sure is quiet in here. I thought for sure you guys would tell me it is legal....like burning the flag...or being naked in public...it is like protected free expression. Of course, that is not the question...is it appropriate ?? Since no one will tell me, I will have to guess....based upon their previous statements...I suspect the Democrats think if is inappropriate...but they are cowards and afraid to say so....now....what do the Republicans think... I suspect they are worse than cowards and support the idea...they think it is a good idea... What does Sara think...how about Joe the non Plummer ?? or.... Huckabee....or

What the difference between speaking at a public event and carrying a gun to one.

The blank space between the First and Second Amendment.

There is none.

I have once or twice while as a Mayor carried concealed during a public forum and had the legal right to do so.

Would you deny me that privilege?

The Constitution says "....the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

It does not say "...the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, unless you're at an Obama concert, then you must leave your guns at home."

People were arrested for the T shirts they had on in the last administration, I would think you guys would find it comforting that no one is being arrested.

Question Once again...

no one is questioning the legality of it...I am sure the ACLU would defend his absolute right...that doesn't address the appropriateness of it...does it show good judgement...is it reasonable....?? Do you approve of it... ? Would you encourage it ??

One couple was arrested for TRESPASSING while wearing an anti Bush shirt and later received a $80,000 settlement. Will the Obama administration be doing similar?

The ACLU has yet to provide a defense in support of the 2nd Amendment.

Does it show good judgment NO! is it reasonable NO! do I approve NO!
would I encourage it NO! I own quite a few weapons, and I would never consider taking a weapon to a public forum, for what? unless you intend to use it, the only other reason would be intimidation, and I suspect that's the true motive.

You would if you were a public official as I was and received threats.

It's not a privilege, it is a right ...assuming you qualify for a permit and I assume you do .

I wouldn't encourage you to bring one to the airport or a courtroom or even to a World Golf Event..or into the room the President is in...

There is absolutely no law in Oregon that denies me from entering a airport with a weapon you just can't have one on a plane. A golf event on private property can regulate anything they desire, If the president would like to visit my home he would have to agree to me having a weapon in my proximity.

I guess you don't understand people who Legally Carry Concealed Handguns.

WE can Legally Carry because WE have been obeying the Law for quite some time.WE are truly certifiably "Good Guys".Extensive backgrounds prove that.

So if it is illegal to carry anywhere,we have no problem with obeying that law.

You need to be concerned with the criminals carrying. They are the ones that will kill you.
