Title for car
Dear Bob,
A question for you Sir,
I went to title my Midstates R174FF here in Illinois and ran across a small problem. You sold the car to a man in Michigan, the car was never completed and I purchaced it. With that said, the car was never titled. Illinois DMV tells me this should never have been done this way because the prevous owner is not a car dealer. They tell me I need to go back to the owner, have him title the car in his name and then transfer it back to me.
Have you ran across problems like this before?
Can you point me in a better direction?
I'm sure I can go back to the seller for help.
Is there an easer way to get my little hot rod on the road?
