Covered trailer to rent or borrow

Does anyone know of any places like U-haul in the Denver area that rent covered trailers that can carry a Cobra. This probably means a 20'.

In the absence of that, is anyone willing to rent theirs?

I am towing the Cobra to Vegas for the Barrett Jackson auction and would prefer a covered trailer. In the absence of that I'll just use a U-haul.

I live too far to help you out with using my trailer. However, I have towed a Cobra with U-Haul's drive-on trailer and they are fine. They use the over the front tire straps which are great. The biggest down side to hauling a Cobra with an open trailer is that the gawkers sometimes come close to sideswiping you as the driver turns their head to stare at your car. As they say (correctly) as the head turns so does the car!
You will actually get better gas mileage with the open trailer.

I hauled one of my Mustangs out to Shelby on one of the open U-hauls in late November to get a supercharger on it before the auction in January. I blue taped the entire front of the car. Then it snowed and they spread that awful gravel all over everything. The front of the car where the tape was was OK, but I didn't go high enough and behind it it got sandblasted. Fortunately my friend Bud (who is no longer there) and one of his magicians knew how to use a buffer/polisher and restored it to all its grand glory so when it got to Phoenix it was pristine.

I'm not too worried about hauling the Cobra on an open trailer this time of year. There is practically no chance of any snow going over the divide, but in mid October it can and does happen. Last year I drove back in an ice storm from Vail to Denver.

Besides, if a friend comes along to help drive the truck, on at least 1/2 of the trip I will drive it across Utah from where I71-I15 meet to Green River, UT or maybe to Fruita, CO. There's a few stretches where you can wind it up.

I was going to buy a trailer but now that I'm thinking of a FGT I'd have to be sure it would be wide enough. FGTs have big butts.

Did you have to raise the ramps? When I towed the SGT I had to add 3" (2 2x10's staggered) to keep it from bottoming out.

It had been so long ago but as I recall I may have had to angle the trailer in the street and use the incline of a driveway to lessen the approach angle.
