Mike

I am planning to come on Aug. 21(weather permting).
Is the time 1:00 or 2:00 PM?

NRP/MN 09-12-2002 09:26 AM

We're going to do this at 1pm. Carbone has offered to provide lunch and some beverages so I am anticipating a "social hour" type of atmosphere. I have not received replies from many of you so please e-mail or call so there is a rough guess of a head count! Telephone # 651-423-5800. I also plan to set up some Intercomp race car scales if any of you want to see what your car weighs.

I'll be there! I'll bring copies of the Gr Lakes Club info. Thanks for hosting

Just a quick update on the Saturday get-together, I have been in contact with around 30 local Cobra owners and the response is great. I'm sure we will have 15 to 20 cars based on the feedback I've received. The weather seems to be cooperating and everything is on track. For those of you on the fencepost about bringing your cars, dust them off, drag them out of storage and do whatever it takes to attend. Absolutely anyone who is a Cobra enthusiast or potential Cobra owner is welcome! See y'all on Saturday, Mike

I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it on Saturday. I layed my Dad to rest this week and I'm just not in the Cobra spirit right now. I have relatives here from Louisiana and my family always comes first so my place is here at home. I'm sure you will all have a great time and hopefully we can get a formal club established. This has been a tough year for me, I lost my father-in-law last July, my younger sister passed in Jan. and now my Dad. I guess the old saying rings true, tragedy comes in 3's.

Don,

Really sorry to hear of your loss. We'll miss you tomorrow.

Greg R2 09-20-2002 03:44 PM

Sorry to hear about your loss Don. Take care of your family and we'll see you at the next meeting.

For those of you who will be coming to the meeting from the south, Highway 3 will be closed through downtown Rosemount. You'll have to work your way around it.

See you all there.

Greg

Mike..I really want to thank you for hosting the event. I was able to meet many local builders, and the pool of information and assistance I gathered will be of immense help!! More importantly, it was the FIRST TIME my wife had EVER seen a completed Cobra...now she has an idea about what I'm dumping all this money into!! (By the way..she was THRILLED!!!!) Thank you very much for your efforts, Mike. Tom 'Bowtie' Carter
