progress...
ok fellow MN snake owners...I'm getting closer to having my toy finished! I installed the drive train last weekend. 406 ci SB Chev (yup...chev motor in my cobra) that made 510 HP at 9.8:1 on pump gas...you gotta love those Pro-Action heads!! Lots of thanks to Brain at R&R performance off central avenue....he is a GENIUS with cylinder heads!! Along with the Super T-10 (2.88 lo) and the Mosier 9-inch, should be quite a handful come spring! I thought I would have to sell it because of the volatile airline industry, but decided to finish it come what may. (Who needs food anyways??) Had a hard time finding the right bell housing/clutch fork combo, but Lakewood came through for me...at least now I don't have to worry about losing a foot if I miss a shift and the clutch explodes!! I'd go to sleep now, but every time I close my eyes, I envision myself behind the wheel of my finished kit and the adrenaline starts pumping...anyone got any valium??? Talk to you soon..... Bowtie (aka CBRALET)
