North Eastern NY Any owners near?

i split time between my house in New Hampshire and my cabin in Elizabethtown, NY. I will be in Elizabethtown starting the middle of June through December. I bring my Cobra with me.

I spend summers in Lake Placid. Regrettably, the AC stays in CA. Too bad ... lots of nice roads to explore.

I work at a place in Lake Placid NY that an olympic bobsleder owned. He had a original 289 that he would drive in the snow. What a ride I still remember after almost 40 years.

I am sure if he is still alive he would love to take a ride.

Red LaFountain, who used to own CSX 2120, is still very much alive, and still runs a place in Lake Placid - the Paradox Lodge. He asks me about his old car every time my wife and I go eat at his place, and then we discuss cars in general for the rest of the evening. His place is still considered the finest restaurant in LP.
