If you purchase a vehicle 50K and up, the sales tax jumps to 7.75%. I just bought a Ford Raptor, and luckily we have a summer cottage in Maine. I registered it there and saved $1400. CT is cutting its nose off despite its face. I'm definitely moving out when I retire.
