Default Upcoming Connecticut Circle Racing

For all you Modified and Stock Car racing guys out there here is the last of the racing in Connecticut this year.

Friday and Saturday (9/29 & 9/30) the Busch East guys will be at Lime Rock Park. F2000 and Miatas will also be racing. Gate price is $20 & $45 which includes the pits. Tickets at AAA are $39 for both days and $30 for Saturday only. www.limerock.com

Friday, Saturday & Sunday (9/29 & 10/1) the Whelen Modified Tour will be at Stafford. All tickets are for all 3 days. Grandstand $35, with pit pass $48. The usual SKs and others will also be racing. www.staffordmotorspeedway.com

On October 7th and 8th the Whelan Tour will be at Waterford Speedbowl for 150 lab event. All the usual classes will also be running. $35 covers the weekend. Kids are much cheaper. www.speedbowl.com

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday (October 10-13) Thompson International Speedway will host the Whelen tour as well as the Supermodifieds and the NEMA midgets. $50 covers the weekend, $75 if you want to wonder around the pits. If the weather is dry this should be a terrific event. If you have never seen the NEMA cars or the Supermodifieds you will be amazed. Both classes are very fast. www.thompsonspeedway.com

So there you have it. If you have young kids this is a pretty inexpensive way to amuse them for the day. Take ear protection, especially for the kids.

Jay will you be at Thompson?

Bob
