6-14 Concord Breakfast or FFR Open House?
NE Group
Trying to judge interest in either the Concord NH monthly breakfast or a group trip to the FFR Open House? Official NH & MA - 93 Corridor - annual Open House caravan thread... - FFCobra.com - Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum ?????????????????:) Jeff |
Hi Jeff,
We've never made it down to one of FFR's open house so we would be game to make the trip down. Mike & Donna |
Eight years straight for me, haven't missed. It's the one event that could only be preempted by family funneral(or rain, did that my first year as an owner...SUCKED!!!). I've never been one of the on the road at 5am guys though. Don't mind rolling in @ 10. Easier to get out when I've had enough too! Oh and I much prefer the Evrt. Trnp.- 495 route. Why would you CHOOSE downtown? Did the tunnel once....yea, so? I watch the thread and if I can hook with my Windmill boys, great. If not...see you there.

I am in for breakfast
Let see drive up fromt the Cape Friday Night then get up early to drive back to the Cape. :eek:That is not going to happen.
Anyone left for the Windmill? :D |
Isn't there a big Mustang do that weekend also? I don't want to mix things up but I want to attend something. The more of us the merrier at whatever! How long to the Cape from the Windmill? What about early breakfast then a ride to the open house??

John
I think Tommy and I are going to FF for the day. Hope to see you there. Tommy has a car show at GE Tue, 10 Jun, for the employees and their cars, and after we might take the roof off, or maybe leave it on for the FF show. By the way, I repaired the problem of the back window popping out of the APE top. We bought another piece of mylar and I made an exact copy of back window, only 5/8 inch longer. Tom |
Hope so Tom, I'd like to meet the "other" owner. My car is running great(now). Why am I getting the feeling that top is going to be perminent and air conditioning is next!

Hey, Hey!!!! The only AC is in the name! Actually I was thinking of power seats----------
|
What about Poor Jeff
I know he started this tread as a distraction, I think he may need a ride on Saturday. He didn't show for the last Breakfast. :eek:Maybe someone should offer him a ride on Saturday if not he may show up in a viper.:D

John,
Good thing my wife has the family balls in a jar on the shelf or that would hurt! **) I have had the car out 4x this year, just not near the Cape. As is stands now I will be there Saturday at The Windmill. See you at 7:45...if the car is still running then. Kidding...... Saturday breakfast and Sunday car show in Nashua? |

Weather permitting, I'll go down to the FFR open house. Here is a pic from last year http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...ouse-42007.jpg |

C'mon guys, I have made it to a few breakfasts at the Windmill and am planning on the barbeque as well. Surely you guys could make it down to FFR this time. So far the weather looks great. If a few of you are really game, get an early start and meet about 6 of us (and my 88 year old co driver) at Dave's in Middleboro, Ma for breakfast before the last short leg.

OK, now I am totally confused. I spoke to Tommy yesterday and he is going hiking in the White Mountains. I am not sure what is happening. I might make breakfast, that is a bigger probability than FF. I will keep you informed.

Breakfast before the Open House
Just to clarify a post I put on the Windmill breakfast thread, there is a great breakfast event at Dave's Diner in Middleboro, Ma at 7AM before the FFR Open House. I know it is early but you guys are tough NH guys, not afraid to start your day early for a great morning ride in what better than a Cobra. Here's the thread from the FFCobra:
http://www.ffcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186106 The diner is only about 20 minutes from the FFR and some guys may want to join up with the major (50+) car caravan that meets nearby. The rest of us may just cruise down backroads to get there. It would be great to have a few of you guys. I could meet up with you on 93 (near the Mass Pike) to drive down together if that is convenient at all. Hope to see you. Ron |
I can't make the FFR run. Have a grad party to attend in the early afternoon.
I will be at the Windmill for breakfast. Looks like I have a friend is his Ferrari coming as well. See you guys there! Planning on Sunday in Nashua as well. That is always a good show and would be a first for a line up of Cobras and of course a GT40! Looking forward to it! Nick, are you going to Nashua? Give Ron and Pat a call! |
Ron,
My issue is time related. FFR is early, yes I am a tenderfoot, and will pretty much kill the rest of the day. That means if I want to go to the Sunday show the boss, aka Danielle, will have an opinion. Probably will not be in favor of the activity. Are you having a get together after FFR at your place? Family? When is the next MA breakfast? |
Jeff,
Probably next get together will be weekend of June 28. nothing definite yet but we'll work on it as soon as the Open House is over. Sorry you can't make this one. My dad and I will spend the day this Saturday at the Open House and maybe the cruise after. It depends on how much pressure is being placed on us by the women (My mom and my wife). I am going to be up at NHMS in a few weeks for a BMW sponsored event. maybe we can get together for dinner or something. Say hi to Danielle. Ron |
What time is the FFR event till 1.00?
