NH Cobra Breakfast May 16th followed by trip to NHIS
NE Cobras
Dave and I have been chatting about changing the breakfast in May to the third Saturday, May 16th, so we can go up to New Hampshire International Speedway for thier vintage car festival after we eat at 8am in Concord at The Windmill. If this sounds good, let us know as it might be a fun day. Thanks |
Update......
The MA guys want to meet in Nashua at Denny's Nashua versus Concord at 8am. I am up for it as it means driving. Anyone else? |
Works for us. We have both of the girls on the road now so the drive is good for us.

I was thinking about booking a vendors spot. I heard this is quite an event and all kinds of nice cars have shown up.
|
Nick,
I heard a Vendor spot is $40 for the day. |
I'm in for the day. Either Denny's or the Windmill is fine.
|
Jeff,
I think the Mass guys are OK to meet at the Windmill or Nashua.....whatever is best for you guys. Let us know. Ron |
Guys,
Just Spoke to Ron H we will meet at 8am in Concord, NH at The Windmill. I will call ahead to reserve the room at Windmill. Ron, Please post on FFR as I can't right now.........Thanks Jeff |
Keep an eye out for the poster. Pat, one of our Cobra guys is on it in the Glasspar. Saw Mike today and he's working on show and tell as always. Who's up to the competition?
|
Jeff,
The MA guys are all set for the Windmill @ 8AM. Too soon to know numbers but if the weather is good it could be 8-15. it was a great turnout last year for the BBQ in Loudon and there is even more fun this year. As I posted on FFR it is a MEGA Event!! Ron Hope a bunch of you NH guys are there even though you may have to sit next to a Mass guy :) |
Pat was there yesterday. Says there's lots of racing action already!
|
Jef,
Add me to the count for breakfast. I'll take back roads up to the Windmill. I'm looking forward to the whole day. Weather is looking promising. |
Jeff, Wish that I could make it. My Cobra is finally done (well almost-are they ever done?). I am taking it to Concord on Tuesday the 19th to get the VIN and inspected. Hope to have the car on the road by the 20th.
My son, John, starts his racing season on the 16th. He is racing a motorcycle powered Mini-Sprint car at Legion raceway in Rumney. Hopefully, I can make the next event. Have fun, John |
Jeff,
Need to know if the Cobras will be parked at the infield or whatever. If I decide to go I will want to keep my eyes on my car. Don't want to leave it in the "parking lot". Also, would like to meet at the windmill if I go. Pierre 67 Cobra |
I think the day is in the infield........
|
Jeff,
Any idea of how many Cobras are going? Pierre |
Ranges are varied, expecting ~20.
|
Jeff, did you call ahead? Louie will have a heart attack seeing 20 of us pull in!
|
Dave
Planned to call Friday am....... |
Pierre,
It's good to hear from you. We could cruise up together if you want. I am planning to leave my place a little before 7;00 and take back roads to Concord. (Amherst, Mt Vernon, new Boston, Goffestown...)We could connect at the intersection of RT 122 and 101A at 7:00am Anyone else from the area who would prefer country roads to the highway is welcome to join me. These roads are very nice and have very little traffic at that hour. If anyone is interested please post here or else I will just go solo at what ever time the spirits move me. Harvey |
