Great! Dave and I should be there as well, two more Contemporaries........ |
Actually may be coming up with something other than the FIA.

I plan on going up Sunday morning for the show. Not sure about any of the other days.
|
I will be there as well. Hope to finally meet some people.
|
Frank,
Hope to fill the camera of pics of your fantastic ride! |
I'm "on the fence"... Jeff, I'll keep you posted.
|
We are on the Midway with a tent for the whole event. Plan to pull some cars down on the show field for Sunday. The GT may have a new home before this event though.
I tried to get us a parade lap group but we did not fit the profile of existing groups. Will have to start working this year on next year. |
Sounds good Jeff, look forward to seeing you and your car as well.
|
We'll be there again this year for the show on Sunday. Maybe we'll follow you down the track again this year Todd. (-:

If you can only attend one day of the Vintage Weekend then Sunday is not your best bet honestly. With the new specialty parking, there is essentially a car show every day AND you get to see actual racing on Fri / Sat / Mon. The other days are what it is all about.

Ron:
In past years it's $25 per person to get into the track and then SAAC gets another $10. If you get an advance ticket at AAA or show your AAA card at the gate it's a little cheaper. The Cobras get to park on the grass in the Esses. I've always had the feeling theat SAAC considers the Replica/Kit crowd the red-headed stepchild in the Shelby world they worship. To me the best part of the show is the drive up. Smooth open road with hardly a light. The trip home is usually a pain in the butt because the Goshen Fair is also going on and the traffic through either Litchfield or Torrington is a nightmare. Bob |

That may be an old opinion, since Cobra replicas permeate all of SAAC today. Although not permitted in Concours events or true Vintage Racing, replicas are trophy winners in SAAC's National Car Show and participate in Open Track events. "Worship" may be a bit strong..."preservation of the brand and its legacy" may be more accurate. :p |
Ron,
It has been awhile, hope to see you there...... Jay, Hope the GT sold today? Woke up to rain here today and didn't make the NEE. |
You can see cars sitting still on here all day. The racing is the reason you go to a track. SAAC is far from a draw at this location anymore, maybe next next year?
I believe if you head towards Kent you have nothing to do with Goshen? Jeff, the sight of the NEE is clear and hot. Rain is staying east and west. |

Maybe we'll see you there. |
Best years there were the SAAC anniversary years, hope they can get back to those.
