News and Press release area....

We have created a new area for news and press releases, which will show up on the front page of the site. Good things for this area are as follows:

Upcoming race events.
Upcoming Shows.
Industry news.
Company product announcements.
Company ownership/management changes.
New Club Announcements.

Brent,

This is a good idea. Could it be subdivided into regions of the country or world. For example, Southeastern USA, NE USA, Texas, Calif, Midwest, Australia, United Kingdom, etc.

It would be a lot easier to track events this way. A lot of folks don't do a good job of describing the loacation of their events in the Subject block and this would help.

Great idea ! I'm looking forward to seeing the posts. My suggestion for events is to have location information in the subject bar.

Jerry, that will have to be something I work on for a while, and not likely be done for a month or so. Other things in the que.

i've got an event here in corpus christi scheduled for november 9,2002. i've listed it in our texas section, but if it would qualify for posting here that would be great. if so let me know and i'll give you the details.

OK, I'll avoid posting the "Hawaii" events until we get more Hawaii guys on the site, ha ha!

But hey, I still like seeing and hearing about "mainland" events. Man, that Talledega open track thing has my mouth watering!
