FE Tom @ SAAC-35 Drags Friday Afternoon (8/27)
To: NorCal Cobras, WSCG members, and Sacto locals:
FYI, for those of you who know Tom from our area or otherwise - I was able to reach Tom at FE Specialties last minute to see about him coming down to SAAC-35 with his 1967 (full interior) street drag Mustang Friday afternoon between 3:30pm-6:00pm. He's in.
For those of you who may not be aware, there are exhibition drags late afternoon on Friday at Infineon. Most of us will just be coming back from the WSCG coast drive in the Cobras, only some will make it to the track, but hope to make it there no later than 4pm. If the drive goes well, maybe sooner.
According to the guy who's putting on the drag exhibition as part of SAAC-35, he says the track will be prepped for super gas cars. Old Fairlanes, Mustangs, etc. Tom will fit right in with his sleeper little street stang.
Look for the Silver 1967 Mustang Coupe with "FE Specialties" written on the side. It may cool off down there this weekend too which will be nice for the drag exhibition cars. Maybe we'll see some of you there...
