New member from Elk Grove with my factory five
I thought I would register here to meet some fellow cobra owners. I recently finished my build and have been thinking about participating in some of the events. My neighbor who is a huge mustang guy suggested that I attend the mustang and cobra show at elk grove ford tomorrow October 1st. Is anybody planning on attending? I just didn't feel like being the only person there with a cobra, err fauxbra. :)

People will arrive around 10 and then shoot the breeze for a while and finally wander in to breakfast about 10:45 or so. If your dad is flying into Sacramento at 11, it would be dicey if folks were still around by the time you could get from N. Sac. to Ione. Keep in touch and we will meet again the third Saturday in November... at a location to be decided later. Bob |

Welcome and congratulations on completion of the new build. We don't get to hear much any more about people completing Cobras over the past few years, so its always fun to see something new and different and to meet new folks. You know...there is a whole pack of guys over your way in Elk Grove who come to our NorCal breakfast meetups but also do some get-togethers on their own as well. I bet a few will be at our Oct 15th breakfast in Ione if you want to come check it out. Duane |
Morgan- Welcome to the Elk Grove FFR gang. As Brian said there are 5 or 6 of us in town. IF Brian didn't get back to you, the alignment shop we both used is Elk Grove Tire and Brake. The phone # is 690-8830. There will be 3 or 4 of us going to the breakfast on the 15th, sorry you can't make the run. Maybe you could meet up with us in E.G. for coffee before we head down to Ione. Thanks for letting me know about the alignment shop. What specs did you use if you don't mind me asking? My tapemeasure and level alignment has me in the neighborhood and the car tracks straight, but before I hit the 500 mile mark I would like a pro to set me up. Do you remember what it cost?
