Hi Maurice,
I suggested Castle Oaks as it is closer to Rick Parker --- it is located in Ione, Amador County. However, if Rick doesnt respond we can meet anywhere, closer by to us.

Wish I could meet you guys, but I've had my carb and entire ignition system out of the car this past week proactively replacing old components after 12 years of great reliability. Carb finally gave me fits after letting it sit too long this past summer, heat, ethanol and sitting = clogged metering blocks and/or plugged emulsion tubes. Paying the price for letting it sit, and not driving it enough. Catch you guys next month.

Duane, Good look on the fix -- looking forward to you getting it back on the road and not sitting in the garage. I try to drive my car at least weekly for that reason. Seeya soon. Ron

PS We will be meeting at 501 Pavilions Lane, Pavilions Shopping Plaza, Sacramento, CA 95825 for those interested in showing up, at the Ruth Chris steak house. at 10AM.

Default Hey Rick

Its Jim Steele, I posted the car on the site for sale.
Something about given her a sponge bath and tightening a few bolts really makes me want to keep her J

Ron ,

Thanks for setting up the ride. A great turnout, considering the weather

I've had my entire car ignition and fuel system apart for a total refresh the past two weekends and never heard back or reached out to the CV group. Sorry. After our last outing to Elk Grove, my car started running on rich on the way back home, so I decided to go through all of it and have not done much since. I will reach out again and see what they might have in mind for Nov. Thanks.

Maurice,
Very nice hanging out with you today-- too bad about the lousy weather... 80 degrees and sunny. I will go for a drive every weekend until it rains.
