NorCal 3rd Saturday - March 21st
EDIT:
08:30-09:30 meet-up at Cars & Coffee in Folsom, across from In/Out burger near Chevron off East Bidwell. 09:30 depart C&C for drive to Green Valley Rd > Lotus > Georgetown > Placerville for breakfast 10:30am breakfast in Placerville at Mels or Buttercup, whichever is less crowded when we get there. |
Sounds like a plan, Duane. Maybe the back road to Placerville. Food place tbd?

That sounds like a blast! Only one problem - I'm having a hip replacement done on Wednesday and I don't think the doc will clear me for any spirited driving, or driving of any type for that matter. :(

Meetup - See 1st post. Spoke to Maurice, we'll meet up a C&C, depart from there and do a loop through Georgetown then to Placerville for breakfast. Details posted back at the top of this thread.
Phil, good luck on the procedure. You'll feel better after it's done. The key to a more speedy recovery is sticking to physical therapy and pushing through it. ;) |

I remember the last time we ran that route. Good memories. Heading to San Antonio tomorrow to meet up with a couple of Viet Nam buddies (40+ years ago when last we saw each other) so will miss this months third Saturday.

How're you feeling? I went on the drive and took one or two pictures inside the restaurant at the end of it all. They turned out crappy. :( Should have taken some at the Georgetown potty stop but my heart was pounding so after the drive there, that I forgot about my camera. What a fun drive. Part of the excitement is hearing the snarl from the cars up ahead as they come out af a turn and goose it toward the next one. Wow! Love it! :D |
