Tom,

There are lots of nice settings in and around the park. I, for one, would like a group shot with everyone, including yourself, so bring your tripod and timer deelybob.

Thanks and see you soon, John ;)

Danny Fong 04-14-2008 08:08 PM

Thanks for the offer Tom. I would love the group shot and possibly one with the wife.

Thanks Tom - I would like a picture also.

Maurice - where are you leaving from? Care to join up?

decooney 04-15-2008 07:02 AM

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your offer. Ya know, many of us over the years bring cameras for these group get-togethers and NEVER really have groups shots or anything quite right that captures the essence of what it's all about. People are always in a hurry to get there and in a hurry to leave at times....or scattered about. Maybe if we make a post and a time here to take a group photo at some particular time, like 11:00a.m. everyone can be there for it. Just a thought before everyone gets there and scrambles about the square at Sonoma.

If you can manage to pull us all together and capture that one shot that we all would love to have for our offices, it would be really signifigant to many of us. I know I would want one.

maurice19 04-15-2008 10:05 AM

Hi,Pat

We could meet up with some of the others at Starbucks in Pavillions on Fair Oaks Blvd, right offhighway 50.

Looks to be a great day to take a ride and see our friends.

I`ll be at Starbucks, along with Justin, before 9 am

Maurice

PatBuckley 04-15-2008 11:52 AM

Hey John,

What's a gallon of high-test going for down in Vinoville these days? Just wondering how much to stuff in the ol' money belt :LOL: :(:(

thudmaster 04-15-2008 07:16 PM

Have we decided on the route yet? It seems that some want to go over 128 and 121 from winters. Is that the plan? If so lets decide on a time and place for all to meet in winters for the trek over the mountains. I haven't got a lot of response from the northern sac area folks so I may be on my own until winters.

jmarsey 04-15-2008 09:07 PM

Phil,

I know where you can get a nice jug of red for around 10 bucks.

John

ps, no different here and don't feel bad, you should see my monthly diesel tab. :>

pooreds 04-15-2008 09:09 PM

I'm ready to meet in Roseville or nearby anywhere, large group from here to Winters would be great. lets plan, ED...

wanab5150 04-15-2008 10:17 PM

Hey Ed/poored, I'm going solo, because Deb's going back East to see her relatives. I'm waivering whether to drive the Cobra, but If I don't take it I'll just drive the Z3...at least it's a convertable. Give me a buzz and l'll hook up with you guys ...wherever. tom

STEVE COURTWRIG 04-16-2008 08:13 AM

Hey guys-One of my customers was just in, he lives in Winters. I asked him about the 128-121 route- he said the road is good, but a bit curvy(cool!). He said it takes around 2 hours from Winters to Somona via that route. That would get us to Somona after 11am, factoring in pit-stops for the ladies. I think we should meet earlier than 9am.

Calbullet 04-16-2008 09:27 AM

OK, its getting close now. where is everybody meeting up this Sat. other than Pavillions/Starbucks, any other places? someone mentioned Ikea earlier. its that a possibility for others coming from the south. Jim, want to meet up at BelAir and find the rest of the group somewhere

Mel

pgermond 04-16-2008 08:01 PM

Completely off topic.... you guys need to do a job with your profiles so folks know first names, bio's, etc.

ZL-1 Cobra 04-16-2008 09:23 PM

We need to head out sooner

Steve, you're right... We need to head out of Sacramento sooner to get there. Showing up in Sonoma after 11:00 is getting too late. The thing only goes 'till 2pm. Those in Elk Grove - let's head out around 8am, stop at Pavillion in Sac. around 8:20, go Hwy 80 past Vacaville, then west to Sonoma.

Who is with me? Jim? Steve? Dennis Larson?

LET'S GET SERIOUS ABOUT THIS - Sat. is rapidly approaching. Let's pull the trigger and settle on what's going on. For those in Sac, let's meet at Pavillion at 8:20am.

Jim Larson
