I've got just one thing to say about this morning........... Thanks, Justin - that was Awesome!!!!
|
I second that what a great event thanks Justin for setting everything up. Photos to follow soon.
Dan & Karen |
Everyone who attended and participated deserves a big pat on the back.
Some may have noticed, the lady in charge at Memorial pointed out all of the people up in their rooms looking out the windows to get a glimpse of it all down below. The staff there seemed most appreciative, and were not expecting the great turnout of cars, people, and gifts overflowing on the carts. This is truly a great group of people we are all part of together. ;) |
Thanks to all!!

Hey I just made a couple of phone calls. You guys made it happen! :) I called my wife on the drive home and told her all about it. I'm still smiling. I had no idea the kids were going to meet us outside the hospital, many were still hooked up to equipment that was keeping them alive. That was the coolest part seeing all the kids out there. And then seeing some sitting in the cars getting their pictures taken. It doesn't get much better than that. Thank you to all who participated and made this another great success. Thanks to Gary as well for the ride and for leading the cruise. Merry Christmas guys, and hug your kids. Justin |
The Best
Phil, did Sandy make it? Maurice |
Maurice,
Sandy was there - in her nurse uniform! She was working today and came down for about15-20 minutes (she was in one of the group photos that Dan LaPage took. Guess you snuck by the City PD, but I know they heard you. And, did we luck out with the weather or what?!? Right between two storms. Good seeing you and everyone else. |
Very Nice!
Justin,
BTW, if the photos come out okay that Dan took (he took a lot), I hope to submit something to our internal magazine so employees can see the great turnout. I too was suprised to see that many young patients allowed outside, and all the patients inside looking down from their rooms. Awesome! |
This was my first NorCal event, and what an event it was!
It was very heartwarming to see the look of joy on the faces of the young patients, and the look of joy on the parents faces as they saw their children's joy! Thanks to Justin and to all who participated in this joyous event. |
Does anyone have a link to the big group pictures?
