Duane,

About what time are you meeting for Bfast to make the 7:45 depart time?

Hope you don't mind if I tag along with the wifes Smart car, the problem with the problem with the Cobra dying when it gets hot has returned. So I don't want to take it out of town until I get it figured out... Again.

07:00a.m i guess...

You might run that by Gary's place at GT Auto. Sounds like the engine compartment gets hot, and some component (module/box) fails or something... cools off a bit, car starts right up again, correct?

wanab5150 07-28-2009 09:35 PM

It wasn't clear....what time were you leaving?

Ray,
I spoke to Gary, if you call him first thing he might be able to fit you in. He might have an opening. He remembers speaking with you about the car once before. I suspect he'll start checking all the wires and connections, etc... call him at his shop / GT Auto in Rancho.

Thanks Duane,

That is the plan, but this week won't work, too much going on.

I thought I had it fixed with the pump and tank change, it ran fine for several hundred miles. This time I was able to look at the fuel rail pressure gauge while it was acting up and the pressure was around 45-48 psi. That should be about normal and that is what it is when it's running right. Who knows! I might take a can of component freeze to it if I can get it to act up again.

See you sunday... what time are we... ;)

Steve
,
Can you and Larson lead the pack down there into Sonoma?

I'm bringing the walkie-talkies and want to hang in the middle to back to make sure we don't lose anyone. See you at B-fast.

Better get there by 7:00 if all plan to eat. DC

UB DRMNG 08-01-2009 02:18 PM

Don't look for me , Can't go after all.

PatBuckley 08-01-2009 04:08 PM
