Run to MT Baker update

I'm thinking of making the Mt. Baker run-is anybody coming from the south and wants to meet somewhere's-I'd probably take the Bainbridge ferry to Seattle and I-90. Then head north up 405? I'm open for suggestions too! Map quest is telling me that taking the Kingston/Edmonds ferry is shorter=more options-

I am a bit confused about the what and when of this but....
I live in Lake Stevens, right next to Hwy 9. I would love to tag along if folks are headed north on Sunday.
