New Cobra in the garage!
A friend decided to sell his beloved Cobra this last week and I couldn't resist. The kids are having a blast. We spent half a day changing the battery out, putting in a new starter switch, changing oil, and putting a plug in it. Then we finished it off with a few coats of wax.

That thing is SWEET! I want one!!
The last pic looks like me and my wife with her yelling for me to SLOW DOWN!!! |
That looks great Jake. Congratulations.
Why didn't they have things like this when I was a kid?:( |
It needs a racing windscreen & some decals!
|
Very cool. You need to go to a muffler shop and fab up a roll bar.
Jim |
Just make sure it is only one roll bar not 2!:D
|
We need specifics:
like chain or shaft driven, Clutch or Torque Converter 0 to 6 MPH Time |
:rolleyes:Gee...I just finished my cobra this summer...and I want one...would put in in line 4 cylinder Kawa that is sitting in the garage ...larger slicks..ect.

Jake ...
Very cool car and extremely cool pictures :cool: There are some good suggestions here, a few little do-dads here and there would add a custom look to the car :) |
The last picture reminds me of, the same way my old lady looks when I nail it!!
|
what ! no side pipes? cute---Mic
|
Happy Kids!
I better get one for the nephews, before Shelby licenses them and the prices go up! LOL |
Jake,
So it starts even in the cold? It must be fuel injected. This is great. Where did you get it? I bet your son is proud of his Cobra. I know he's all smiles when he rides with you. Bruce |
Very cool Jake. I have a good friend that can bend you up a stainless roll bar and some side pipes. I can then hook up the side pipes to the engine and it will sound cool!

Ray, I think I will leave this one stock. The neighbors already say it sounds like I am starting up my Cobra in their living room every time I fire up the car. Jake |
Very cool!
