Default insurance

I think I am paying to much for insurance on my cobra. $1400
per year. Any advice or 800 numbers. Thanks, Jay & Dolly.

Try Parish Heacock insurance. Ask for David Parish 800-274-1804.

If that is for full use with no milage limitations, it's pretty good. If it is restricted you can do better. I have Safeco, no use limitations, but 3000 mi. per year. $800.00. $1600 with no milage limitations. Hope this helps.

Jay & Dolly,

We have insurance through Hagerty. No deductible, no mileage limit, up to $40,000 collision coverage, and I only pay $625 per year.

I've heard more recently that they won't insure Cobra's unless you've owed it for over a year and have a good driving record. Either way, check it out! www.Hagerty.com

Good Luck,
Todd & Kris

I went through my State Farm agent like I have on the rest of my vehicles. It is insured for $40,000 as a leisure vehicle. (7500 miles per yr.) Costs me $900.00 per year. Could have gone through an independent agent for about $650.00 w/ 3000 mile per year limit but if I need coverage I would feel a lot better with State Farm behind me.

K&K collector car

No mileage restrictions, you pick your deductable, and "agreed" replacement value. (I finally looked at my policy to verify)

Expect to pay ~$400/year for a $35,000 stated value.
