				 Northwest Cobra Sighting Thread
Now that the weather is getting nice, I am seeing other Cobras on the Road. Have you spotted any?
Yesterday saw a light blue with white stripes heading down Hiighway 410 from Bonney Lake to Sumner at about 11am.

Day before saw a blue and white strip (maybe same car) on north end of Lake Tapps at about 630am.

Also same day saw an all white, no stripes down on river road in fife.

No ideas....They are locked up in garages everywhere.

				 Riding Snakes in the Heat
I had my Blue Snake out all weekend doing the final check out of an alternator rebuild I did to fix a charging issue, and to dial-in a new variable speed electric fan thermostat. Put about 250 miles on Saturday from Stanwood south thru Takcomaaa (still smells pulpy down there), across the Narrows to my family reunion at Vaughn Bay located in Sound Puget Sound Olympic Peninsula area.
Ol' Blue is as ready as ever for the Oregon Highway 101 Costal Run later this week!

Did not see a single snake in the grass anywhere this weekend. Strange cause I've been seeing Cobra's out a lot lately too (well it is summer finally and maybe too hot for us moldy Washingtonian’s). I'm thinking that everyone's a bit like me and a bringing out the roadsters now more than usual, as a personal tribute to Carroll Shelby's passage.

Oh the blazing hot 90-degree sunshine all weekend assured I have my tan all the way on too.
Cheers,
BC K&D

I have to cancel out of the Oregon Cruise because of my rear hub issue. I get the replacement hub next Tuesday. I think I actually feel physically ill when something is broken on my Cobra. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often! Knock, knock, knock...on wood! |

 Ward:
Sorry to hear you won't make the Oregon coast run. Judy and I were looking forward to seeing you and your bride again. I hope all goes well with the rear bearing issue.

Oh boy, you don't know how annoyed I am to miss this cruise and good friends! I hope to be ready for Tim McCulloch's Mt Baker Run! |

Anybody planning to head to Vancouver Wa on the 26th for the annual Cobra Cruise In at the Bobst's? Looks like Allen Grant will be there and Kit Car Builder magazine will be there to write a story on the event. |

 I'm thinking about it.
But then I was thinking about surprising the Oregon coast group and joining them for the ride down tomorrow morning and work today ruined that. Depending on some tests tomorrow morning I may end up working all weekend.

I usually have a less than 50% chance of doing things I plan on.

Saw another light blue with white stripes going towards Buckley from Bonney Lake on 410 at about 1:15pm today.
 Perfect day for a drive.
