Run to the Sun Reunion Labor Day
For some reason I was assigned the task of organizing a fall reunion of prestigious Cobras when we were on our fabulous run to eastern Washington this past June. So here it is:
 1) Labor Day, Monday, September 2 from 1 to 4 PM
 2) Lake Padden Park, southern Rotary shelter (near softball fields) in Bellingham, WA.
 3) We are providing chicken sliders (whatever they are), popsicles and punch
 4) Bring some food to share or just come!
 5) I'm thinking of ways to group our Cobras together, but the City Park people don't really get how awesome our Cobras are and won't let us officially reserve REAL COBRA parking.
 6) Of course it is open to anyone cool enough to own a Cobra whether or not you have been on the Run to the Sun!
 7) Please RSVP so we know how much chicken to cook and how big to make the Cobra Corral!

This event has a dual purpose in that it is our swan song as we are leaving Bellingham and moving to SoCal there will be non-Cobra people invited as well. One of the reasons we are leaving Bellingham is because we want to drive the Cobra all year around!

 RSVP!

 Ward,
Can't understand why you won't drive the Cobra all year in the PNW? ha ha ha.

How kind of you to host us road rodents in beautiful Bellingham, although we're not sure yet whether we can make it on the 2nd. Should know shortly and will let you know ASAP.

 Cheers,
 Kev & Di

We should be able to make it, as I will be at Mission BC racing over the weekend should be done about 1PM on Monday. I will have trailer so hope there is someplace to park it.

We may have to park our daily drivers to hold the spots for Cobras and then move the DDs when the Cobra's show up. I'm working on it. Good to hear you're coming.... |

				 Labor Day
Just discovered a CV joint boot with a hole in it last night. Going to try and find a quick repair solution. Discovered one on internet last night from TechI, now I need to find some place local to purchase locally. Any ideas on potential sources or solutions will be appreciated.

 Hey Ward,
I'll be working all weekend so unable to make it. If I can get done early on Monday I'll try to swing up and pay you a good buy visit. Unlikely though so plan no food for me, I'll bring something if I can make it happen.

Sorry to lose a PNW Cobra team to SoCali, but I know the weather will be much nicer there for maximum Cobra drivability. I despise the traffic and all the people everywhere, but it seems that lots of sunshine always helps make people happier, friendlier and healthier too, I like that about SoCali along with the warm Pacific surf south of Long Beach. Try to stay in touch with us, all our best wishes!

 Kevin & Dianne
