Default The days are getting longer

Great picture Derf. Won't be too long and we'll be gathering somewhere.

Calender of Events

I got the "GOODGUYS" calender for 2002. There are a gajillion events listed. I would be happy to post it, but the print is too small to post here. You should be able to pick them up all over the place, but if any of you guys want me to mail you one, let me know.

With the calendar in hand, we can start planning for the summer and avoid any major conflicts.

Bish

Default Calendar

Rich, Zderf et al, just give me your fax #'s or your mailing addresses and I will get you a copy.

Got the new rear end, axles and rack and pinion. I hope that is all for all while. I found that the old gears were 3.25 (I thought the car seemed pretty long legged) so we upped them to 3.70. Should be interesting. The P/O must have real low quality junk yards to choose from, 'cuz everthing I have replaced was pretty "Junky"

Derf, the splash guards are ok, but they don't fit my car. They are for a FFR ( I shoulda asked) or any other car with a less pronounced "Lip" on the rear fenders. Ergo: they are for sale.

Default Re: Calendar

Hey Guys;

You know, I took the Cobra down to Park Place to consider consigning it. They looked over the car, and gave it a thumbs up. Except for the missing wipers and trunk latch. They said, "we can fix them for about $750 or you can do it". Needless to say, I declined their offer to fix them.

For some reason I have been dreading these two, what seem to be, very easy fixes. Both required some creative retrofitting given the circumstance which I won't go into right now. Anyhow, once I put my mind to it, I had it completed in a matter of 5 hours and a couple trips to Lowes.

Now I have had a fresh new look at the Cobra! Could it be these two little repairs drove me to want it sold? Well who knows, but in the meantime I'm going to hang on for another Cobra driving season. So count me in!

Thumbs up Welcome Back!

Thats great news Todd. I didn't know Lowes had wiper system components... thats it, I had written them off after the Eagle disaster. Maybe I'll go back now!

Bish.. I knew you have the Fac 5 guards. You mentioned that you were going to have some fabricated???

Is it raining at your house/

cooler with dual remote oil filter, changed out auto for t-5 (this
took alot of work), adjustable coil overs & sway bars. I think
thats enough for one winter. I hope you all had a wonderfull

Default IS IT RAINING? LAWS, YES

If you guys have e-mailed me with your fax/phone/addresses, I haven't been able to get them. My PC is currently down (until tomorrow) and I had to go back to my old dial up to put the lap top on line. My e-mail on this line is tbish@premier1.net. The dsl line and the pc will will be back on line tomorrow and the other email address will work then. Or give me a call @ 800 256 5183,

Zderf

As soon as I get the car out of the shop (still waiting for axles) I will get on the stone guard thing. My friend is chomping at the bit to make them. Car has been laid up for three and a half weeks waiting for parts. Seems the Holidays got in the way. Axles have been "on the truck" for 10 days! Glad it's raining!!

Todd

Glad you're going to be around for another season. How about coming up and helping me get my wipers to work.

Jayem

Man that's a lot of stuff, but bet you'll be happier with the t-5.

See ya all soon, Bish

Default Re: Lowes

All you need is some 2-part epoxy, a hole saw, a drill, a shop vac, a couple eye-hooks, and a lot of guts. Lowes had everything but the guts, I found that on a cold Saturday afternoon. The end result was a smooth working trunk, and some not so smooth wipers, but done is done!

See ya soon.
