I was only talking about the Port T run. I have no problem with you in the lead, besides when you are in the lead all the rocks are gone when we come by. If you remember I was way in the back of the pack trying to get some movies of everyone. They didn't come out worth a poop, still learning as to where the camera and mike needs to be.

Sunday AM to the North

Me and Spike we are up for a Sunday morning run to the north. When do you want to meet at and at what time? Slab Lord is getting drunk the night before and no sleep besides, so I am up for almost anything. If we see him at all, I'll be astonished.

I will let you do the math. If we want to get a bite to eat before we leave Mount Vernon then we need to add about an hour. Just so we don't brake any speed limits we will travel at 45MPH so I gues that will take another 2 hours. We will need at least 1 potty stop so throw in another 1/2 hour. Give another 1/2 waiting for everyone to get to the weight station at Federal way and I guess you will have to plan on getting up around 4AM.
On the reality side I would say if we left the weigh station no later than 6:30 we should have plenty of time.
Don't count the old Slab out yet, I sure he surprised alot of folks on the Idaho run me encluded.

whew, we are going to leave the Federal Way weight station at 6:30 AM ??? I have not taken the time to do the math. Wow. I'm going to call up the Bishop and give him Spikes cell phone number. I want someone living in another city to tell her that she need to get up at 5:30 on a Sunday to get into "that speed trap" just to go to a BBQ.

It looks as if its around a 100 miles so we can slip it to 7:30 and pump it up to 50MPH. Have not heard form any one else so we will just have to wait and see.

Meeting Place
 

Would you believe that everybody in skagit county who wants to, is getting married next weekend. Every damn rental place in Mount Vernon and Burlington is sold out of tables and chairs. Had to contact a place in Anacortes to get 'em. The things I do for you guys. I just couldn't bear the moans and groans from Hamilton (bad back) Keith (fat ass) and Slab Daddy (hangover) if they were foced to sit on the lawn, so we will have tables and chairs!

We are going to meet and start from LOWES in Mount Vernon, same place as last year. From I-5 take exit 227 (College way) and go West about a block, LOWES will be off to your right. Please try to be here by 0900 so we can get underway by 0930. If we leave on time it will put us in LaConner at around noon which will give us plenty of time to shop etc. There is a Denny's just to the East of exit 227 for you early arrivers that want breakfast.

I need some advice. It looks like we may have 25 cars on this run. Do any of you have experience with a group that big? Do you think we need to split into two groups? I'm thinking we don't need to do that, but I could be wrong. Most of the roads we will be on are country roads, so we should be able to stay together.

I like the idea of the last in line keeping the lights on, Guess I will just have to keep my foot out of it so the gaps don't get to large. Should be a great time.

Last car lights on is a great idea. If a gap appears you just have to make sure all the cars make the turn. I think the one major problem we had on the Idaho run was passing. when you pass, lead or whoever they need to make room for the guy behind that is also looking for a hole.
Bish on sitting on the grass I'd just look for some Fat Ass to sit on you know to support my back.

Will you be able to refigerate the food we bring? Some salads might include mayo or jello that need to be kept cool. This seems to be an important issue to the one making the salad.

Last year we had a thunder storm, doesn't look like that will happen this year, but I'll be happy to set up the sprinkler for you to run through.:D Guess you are all such seasoned cruisers there is nothing to talk about. Don't forget, any of you who want to shoot trap (not craps) after the BBQ are welcome to have at it.
