Bill,
I tried to e-mail you at the link above and it came back with a fatal error at the receiving server. This car belongs to a friend of mine who shows it a lot and I sent him the link. I can't get hold of him on the phone so will wait until I hear from him. His e-mail is Vaughn@reddingnet.com Ron |
I have a beautiful black/no stripes ERA with a 427 Sideoiler and Webers. Has original Blue Streak Tires and a $20K paint job. I live in the Bay Area.
I can send pics when the wife gets home and can scan them into the computer. Thanks, Mark |
Maybe you guys should find out first what kind of a commercial or flick your pride and joy will be seen in....

Look forward to talking with you. Mark |
somebody should get a hold of Walt Tomsic. His good friend has an original Black 289 in Gig Harbor. Great condition.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A friend's cobra was used up here for a movie last year. THEY TRASHED IT ! The paint was all scratched, another member saw someone hauling ass up the N.Van cut in one night. It isn't worth it ! Why would you give your baby to some idiot to drive? |
Black 65 Cobra
In response to high plains drifter. I'm sorry to hear your friends cars were damaged, have them contact us we will help them get fully compensated. Unfortunately there are bad companies out there who would mistreat a car BUT we wouldn't use them. In three years of renting everything from a 1908 Packard speedster to a 2001 Bentley turbo we have not had a problem. Most of the cars are not even driven AND we would prefer the owner to be with it . Proffessional companies don't want the responsibility or liability of even moving the vehicles . In any event if anything were to be damaged the compensation would more than make up for it. We do though have many happy clients! Bill CCRC

I had a '66 GT350 that I owned that was in a commercial for Ford in Dearborn several years ago. They treated me and car with great respect and I was compensated very handsomely.
My Bud Moore T/A was used in a race scene for a "B" movie and I drove it. No problems again. Made some great friends along the way. You just have to be careful up front and make sure you know what is going on and what you sign up for. Thanks for your concern and warning. Mark |
How about a real black cobra in WA?

I understand he has owned it since new......:)

I was offered 5K several years ago to park my Cobra in an Indian Cassino several years ago as a grand prize.
They swore nobody would win it, I should have took them up on the offer. Scott S |
Yep. A "real" Cobra. Is that like the "new" CSX4000 series or the "new" CSX7000 series or the "old" CSX2000 series? However, I heard that "real" Cobra's carried the CSX3000 numbers.
And, I thought "real" Cobra's had black interior. I'm just kidding, everyone. There's no sub for the early cars.... Mark |

Check with a company called Park Place Limited--they are an exotic /hi-end/ special interest auto dealer in Bellvue, WA--the owner(?) has a sweet Black SPF Cobra roadster for sale--may be able to work out something 425-562-1000 Park Place Ltd |

My good pal Tim Butson owns this car. He is not a member of clubcobra (no internet) You could probably talk him into paricipating. It is powered by a engine that does not look accurate. But externally it is very accurate. He also has bumpers and ragtop if needed.
Just Email me if you have not arranged a black car yet. cobracrazy@hotmail.com Adam Crabtree |
Thank you all for the information. Lemlem
