Annual Red Hook Brewery Meeting
Last year members of the NW Cobra Club got together early in the year at the Red Hook Brewery to kick the year off. As I recall the weather was good so folks brought the cars and Rich brought along a copy of the show listings in the NW area.
I’d like to propose getting together early again like we did last year to review all of the dates and start building up a calendar for the NW region. Besides – I think it will be fun to see everyone again after a real nasty winter. So let me propose Saturday, March 27th at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville again. Rain or shine… If this is not central to most members I think we are open to another location…. Comments? |

27th--I hope to have the car back together by then---now since I really do not know the eastside, I get lost outside the Seattle downtown core--from Bainbridge where is Woodinville/Red Hook? What would be the easiest way to get there from here? Ferry to Seattle ---

Sorry - Forgot the time. Let's target 11:15AM. In the past we have had quite a big crowd and if we don't get there early its hard to find a group of tables. I'll try and reserve some space if they take reservations.
The link to teh Red Hook Brewery's site is http://www.redhook.com/ Here is a link to the contact information, open times and address to the Red Hook Brewery. http://www.redhook.com/brew_woodinville.html If you have never been there and want to make the day of it, Chateau St Michelle is across the street (http://www.ste-michelle.com/main.cfm) and the Columbia Winery is next door (http://www.columbiawinery.com/home.a...y=22&year=1962). |

Just got a call from Keith Vincent wondering what time we were all showing up at Red Hook. I told him I thought it was between 11 and 11:15. He asked where we all were.
Keith it helps to write down dates! Bet he didn't have trouble finding a table. At least the weather was good! Bish |
Keith???
Nice work buddy! See you at Red Hook the 3rd at 11:15AM. ha ha ha

I've been traveling quite a bit lately. Catching up of the thread.
Hope folks don't mind - but let's keep the meeting place at the RedHook Woodinville location. Also please remember - rain or shine. If we can bring the Cobra's that would be great! If not, we should still plan on meeting. After all - beer and friends. Great combination! For those of you who have event schedules please bring them. If you can make approximately 15-20 copies for distribution that would be wonderful. If I recall - last year's turnout we had approximately that many cars and/or interested parties present. See you on Saturday! Steve |
Where in the heck were you???????
I bought enough beer for everybody. Damn see ya next week PS Bishop, you got a big mouth |
Woodinville WARNING
Just realized that March 27th is a big day in Woodinville. There will be road closures for a parade and Basset Hound Brigade... from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
ROAD CLOSURES NE 175th Street will be closed from 140th Ave NE to 131st Ave NE. 140th Ave NE will be closed from the NE 179th Street to NE 175th St. Road closures from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. You should still be able to trun right on 175th off of 131 st Ave after exiting off of Hwy 522.... it will just be a bit crowded. You may wish to instead take exit 20B (NE 124th at Totem Lake) off of 405. Go east on 124th about 1.5 miles to 132nd Ave NE. Turn left (north) at that light and go up the hill and across the plateau until you come to a wierd 4 way stop sign. You'll then go right (east) on NE 143rd.. which is a nice windy steep road that will pop you out at the bottom where Chateau St Michelle Winery, Columbia Winery, and Red Hook all reside on hwy 202. Looking forward... :3DSMILE: Zderf |

I guess it's true............. what they say about getting older! :3DSMILE: The eyes in the south are watching this thread! **) |
Mike,
Any excuse for a drink ,Ya know, for medicinal purposes. How come your watchin' instead of drivin' up to the pub? It can't be any farther to drive to Seattle than from the great white north. Perry :D |
