Default Cobra insurance - best rates

Ok, just got a cobra. Who is the best choice for insurance? What is a reasonable rate for a no ticket experienced driver and a car value listed conservatively in the 35-40k range

Is it official? Is this the 1,000th thread on insurance? Do we have a winner????!!!!

Tracyda,
Seriously speaking, you can use the "Search CC" function and just search on "insurance." There are already a lot of facts, wisdom and bull#$%* posted on this subject. Look for people from your state, as one of the big "gotchas" is that the same company will deal with these issues differently depending on the state in which you live. Good luck!

Grundy seems to have a pretty good deal. Without going into specifics my car is insured on an "Agreed Value" of $50,000 with a premium of $600 annually. I don't beleive there is a mileage stipulation. That was after an appraisal which I beleive cost $250. Your car must appraise for at least $50K before they will deal with you however. Get the right person if you need a small stretch. PM me for specifics and the agent which is located in Woodinville if your interested.

Not to stir things up but................

I find it curious when people make cracks about the number of past threads on a certain topic and about using the search function.

Things change with time. Info from 2003 may not be relevant today especially when it comes to insurance. Also, the search function only works so well when you want certain specifics on a topic or issue.

Just my $.02.

I searched the site and what I found was a lot more bs than information. Google search was slightly better. I went with Grundy for my old iron.
