Default Special Olympics Run

This past weedend, Eileen & I joined 85 "Bikers" for a charity run to Grand Coulee Dam. We started in So. Hill and traveled Hwy 410 through Buckley up to Greenwater then down to Chinook Pass. We skirted the outskirts of Yakima an headed north to Ephrata and Grand Coulee Dam. The ride was great as was the weather. It's quite a sight seeing 85+ bikes in a half mile long line.
Once at Grand Coulee Dam, there was a Banquett Dinner and plenty of cold beer. The best part was over $3,000.00 was raised for the Special Olympics.
As Eileen and I were the only Cobra in the group many of the participants mentioned that they were not getting any attention as most people were looking at the Cobra. It was a fun ride with a bunch of very nice and friendly folks. I've been instructed to invite Cobra Club Members to attend next year although some indicated the lack of attention with just one in the pack was hard to take let alone more joing the group.

Come on now Steve, Fess up. The bikers were looking at Eileen who was in the car. Tell us the truth. You know we are sticklers for detail. Just kidding, I have not seen a nicer or cleaner car than yours. Like I said Friday, If you two want to take the other car out for the day let me know you would both have a good time.

Default Special Olympics

Steve,

If you would post the address where donations could be sent to help special olympics maby those of us who could not attend could still participate with our donations. This is a great orginization to support.

Jim
