It was a goodtime. We left before we could here Allen talk about the cars in his stable. The weather was not looking good by the middle of the afternoon and we didnt want to drive home in the rain.
We want to congradulate Jim for winning the Cobra replica class. His car was looking good and shows well with all that bling and craftsmanship. The Cobra replica class was the biggest class there and lots of nice ones. Lets do it again next year.

Really wished Sherrie and I could've been with you guys for more than the 5 minutes or so that we were. It was my father in laws birthday and we were meeting them in Belfair.

I can build a car but I can not get a picture on a web page. Now that's pathetic.

There was a guy there that said he edited a combination of movies & clips together to reach the shown end result. It was a fun combo of movie & race footage. I too would like to get a copy if anybody caught his name.

I was told that the movie clips were from the movie "The Killers" It is a movie produced about 1964 It stars Ronald Regan. Dont look for cars on the cover this race was just part of the movie. It had to do with the driver not the race.
Good luck, Not hard to find on the web under "The Killers"

One of the movies that I saw him showing I believe is called "The Killers".
A 1964 remake of the 1946 Ernest Hemingway film. I did not get to see the other race footage being shown but I believe The Killers movie does have some staged Cobra race footage during the movie.
