I promised my wife I would help her with the yard and garden this weekend. Things are really starting to grow and getting a good head start helps things grow even better.
I am getting the car out this weekend but short ride is all I am going to get away with.
You guys just go have some fun.

Andrew Teal 04-16-2009 10:42 PM

Why dont you just give your car to me and Ray and Steve for a weekend. :p Steve told me to look at how you had your seat all the way back so your foot could not reach the firewall!!!!!!!!!! Pure chicken Sh--!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boys at Park Place said your car was Blue when it left their place??????????????????

Jake is the only one who seems to have a good excuse. You don't hear me with a MAMBY PAMBY got to do yard work excuse!!!!!!!!!

Jim

Hey,

My excuse (for Sunday) is as good as Jake's. We're both public servants. :D Saturday is a different story. I DO have to do the MAMBY PAMBY yard work and my wife says so.

Jim (the other one)

race-it 04-18-2009 11:33 AM

I tell you, you make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I show my wife who wear's the pants in the family. I man up and push my car out of the garage, down the driveway, around the bent, then start it and I'm off. Then I head over to Steves and we both push his out of the garage, up the hill around the bend, start it up, put on our short sleeve T- shirts and roll up our cigaretts in our sleve. and head out!!!!!!!!!! Real Men Take Charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim

jwd 04-18-2009 12:44 PM

But I live at the bottom of a 3 block long hill. It would kill us old farts to push it that far. Besides, I AM the boss of this household, and I have my wife's permission to say so.

Jim (Too, formally known as The Other One)

Steve Bisson 04-18-2009 01:21 PM

Thanks Jim(race-it), now I have to explain all those extra miles on the odometer to Eileen.

race-it 04-18-2009 03:59 PM

Steve, Let me explain how this went, Jim ( Mama's Boy) said he could not go and I have been waiting to see his car. I tried to humiliate him into coming but instead I showed my wife, Mama's Boy's post, and I had to plant bulbs and mow the lawn so don't thank me thank Jim and silverbeck51. They started this whole mess.

D*mn Jim, guess you got me figured out.%/;):D

Actually rather than set the seat back so I can't reach the firewall, I'm going to put a small block in it. That should keep me safe.:JEKYLHYDE:D

Hope you guys have a great time tomorrow.

race-it 04-18-2009 08:18 PM

Okay, I'm having an identity crisis. Am I "Jim TOO" or "Mama's Boy"? I don't care which one but I need to know. Damn it Jim, I'm only human ( in the best James T. Kirk impression).:D

Jim TOO/Mama's Boy

P.S. I'm done with the yard work. Now I only have to fight fires and save lives tomorrow.

Andrew Teal 04-18-2009 09:52 PM

Wow, wow,
Fight fires and save people, that sounds good to me, I just wanted to askets a few gardening question of Jim #2. See you guys at H D around 10am.
