NOCC
Hi Steve,
Cindy and I will try to make it! I'm game for a ride anytime. How's the car coming along? Have you test driven it yet??:) :3DSMILE: Les |
Have it marked on my calander.
Doug |
When it rains it pours! Installed the drive shaft just before the rebuilt for a second time engine was installed. Previously, I had never seen a car leap forward in neutral. No, it wasn't the linkage, as it was disconnected at the time. I'm glad I had moved the engine hoist! The car missed everything including my feet.
I've paid enough in towing to build a small nation. This time its going on a borrowed trailer to go to the transmission shop. (You know, the shop that rebuilt it prior to installation). Donor cars sure look attractive right about now. I don't know if its practical to hope to be on the road by the picnic. -Steve |
We plan to be there. I don't have clue where this is.

Jack- This get togeather is just outside Wadsworth. 224/76-- 94 area. Medina County. Where is Poland??
Steve--Well I had my transmission rebuilt twice--and I'm on the 3rd engine rebuild-- Finally got it right. Finding the right person to rebuild is a "crap shoot" you'll get all the promises but their favorite responses are-- " Must have been the other guys fault" " I have it done for you this week" " I'm waiting for the parts to come in" " I've been out of town" " You didn't tell me you wanted new oil" " The guy who worked on your car just quit last week" " Did you check your warranty?" " We will close for a couple of weeks for vacation" Well Steve do you know of any others? -good luck---stay in touch-Mike |
Link to Map for Picnic
Jack & Judy, You are about 70 miles East of us. If you are not into making a round trip in one day, you're welcome to stay at our home. Plenty of secure Cobra parking and a couple of spare bedrooms. Anyone else interested - I can accomodate at least 2 Cobras besides my own. (If it's not running by the picnic - then I can accomodate 3, as I'll have pushed mine off a cliff). -Steve contact me at: wadesdad@hotmail.com |
I don't know guys, our car has never made it 70 miles yet.
Oh well we need the exercise. I assume at some point we will find out what to bring. jack |
Hey, guys, I don't think that the map link to Fawn Cliff Farms works. I would like to attend, but I think that more explicit directions would be helpful to a lot of us. Is the farm north or south of route 18 and on which road? Sorry if I have missed something here.
Bob |
Steve, are you going to call Gary for address, etc.? If not, I will call him after work tonight.
To everyone else... please just bring a side dish or dessert. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, probably some chicken and/or sausage type stuff. We will also have pop, water, etc. Chairs would be very welcome... even just the type we take to car shows. Guessing about 25-30 Cobras so far - from the verbal committments I've gotten. Dan Stryffeler |
The address I have is:
Fawncliff Farms 1020 North Medina Line Road Granger Township Looks about 1/2 way between 71 and 77 on Rt. 18 So East on 18 from 71 south Will confirm with Gary later... Dan |
Who do i call,e-mail to to let them know if all stays well we'll be there ready to party. i think this is a great idea for us northerners to get together...a small spring fling! Thanks for the invite. Panz
