Thanx for your support! With the projected cancellation of DVSFIV we may become a big contributor to Cystic Fibrosis. I'll provide more info on the show as it develops.

Hey Charlie,

Yep, it's mounted. Would be even better to bring the Cobra down, or your's up here for that matter. My carb is in southern Cal being modified and calibrated. Should have it back late next week. Getting ready for Spring.

Dale

How is it coming Frank? Are you getting the word out to the general public? Need anything?

I will remind all the OCC people a week or so before. There are only 118 of us on the mailing list. So perhaps we can get at least 3 or 4 to show:LOL: ;)

Dorman,

Should you take this thread and announce it on the regular forum?
I'm planning on attending the show...

rdorman 04-26-2004 07:05 AM

Kind of leaving that up to Frank. If some one is in Ohio, they should be looking in here!

Rick:
We're on Hemmings, Cruisn Times, and I'm passing out flyers at the Crusin for Children show on May 1. I've tried Ohio car show but they haven't updated their web site yet. I did put in an announcement there as well. Any other suggestions?

Hey Guys/Gals!
Anybody know of a good DJ to pipe out some tunes for our show? I'm drawing blanks. Got the food consessionaire lined up. I'm assigning assistants for all those who volunteered to help with registrations, etc. Anybody have an example voting form for 1,2,3d peoples choice trophies? DV-are you still contributing the trophies? I figure we'll need 12: 1,2,3 for each class; Rods, Customs, Classics, Antiques and 1 for Managers Choice for a total of 13. We're getting close!

Hotfingrs 05-01-2004 12:22 PM

Frank, I think you're breaking it down into to many classes. Just MHO. If I were doing a voting slip.... Have name of show at the top, then five numbered lines underneath 1,2,3, etc Each participant gets one slip with registration, to keep from stuffing the box, and they get to vote on their 5 favorite cars. Then you total of the votes at a certain time, and the top five vote getters get the trophy's. You could call the top vote getter "best of show" if you wanted then have 4 runner ups. Forgot to say, each car is given a number to be displayed with their car info in their windshield. People walk around and just put a number on each line...keeps it pretty simple. Don't have to worry about putting make model etc down.

Good idea! I want to follow the KISS rule as much as possible. Thanks.
