BBQ & Grove Cruise Night

I got this e-mail from a Cobra friend of mine:

"Hey, this is just a reminder of the BBQ & Grove car show coming up in a couple of weeks, specifically Saturday, May 21st. As it was last August the BBQ will be here at our place where we can chat and chow done for a few hours, then go on into Grove for the show. Once again we'll provide the meat(s), something like a macaroni or fruit salad, bread/buns coffee/tea/soda/water, and some kind of desert, still to be determined.

The rest is pot luck, so bring something you like to eat. For the folks that have never been to the Grove show, it's pretty informal, typical for this area. There's no judging and no trophy's, it's just an evening gathering of car nuts to get together for some old fashioned "gawk & talk". It starts about 4:30 or so & runs until you feel like going home or dark, which ever happens first. :-) I don't remember exactly, but kinda think there were about 30+ cars there last August, a small casual "show" but fun.

Everyone is invited, bring any of your car nut friends and lets have a big group show up, we sure had a great time last year, lets make it even better this year. See ya' all here on the 21st.!"

A bunch of us went to Bob's place and then to the cruise-in last year & had a blast. If any of the local Tulsa folks want to join us, just let me know and we'll all cruise up as a group. Last year we left Claremore about noon.
