And its fun when you figure out that you need to seal that hole after all your machine work is done, the engine is painted and ready for final assembly. So what we did was turn the block on the engine stand so that the hole was facing the floor and slowly ran a tap into the hole, being sure all the tailings came out onto the floor. We then used an allen-head threaded pipe plug to seal it off.
