windshield support bracket........
The windshield support bracket that is at the base of the windshield, centered, and behind the rear view mirror was not part of my FFR package.:confused:
Before I fabricate this piece and spend all the time researching and measuring trying to get it right..... Does anyone make these that I can just purchase off the shelf? I have the Lexhan shield so I am not worried about this cracking my windshield. Thanks Dan |
Do you mean the rod/bracket for the windshield to keep the top from pulling the frame apart?

I believe he means the small L shaped brace that attached to the lower center of the windshield frame, the to the body. This was installed on the originals. I am not aware of any place that sells these.
I thought it would be nice to have one, although they may be a bit tricky to install. The small holes on the FFR windshield frame look to be for a self tapping screw, as they are not threaded as others on the frame are. Is that what you planned to use? |
