Default windshield support bracket........

The windshield support bracket that is at the base of the windshield, centered, and behind the rear view mirror was not part of my FFR package.

Before I fabricate this piece and spend all the time researching and measuring trying to get it right.....

Does anyone make these that I can just purchase off the shelf?

I have the Lexhan shield so I am not worried about this cracking my windshield.

Thanks

Dan

Do you mean the rod/bracket for the windshield to keep the top from pulling the frame apart?
Finishline sells that: http://www.finishlineaccessories.com...roducts_id=283

I believe he means the small L shaped brace that attached to the lower center of the windshield frame, the to the body. This was installed on the originals. I am not aware of any place that sells these.

I thought it would be nice to have one, although they may be a bit tricky to install. The small holes on the FFR windshield frame look to be for a self tapping screw, as they are not threaded as others on the frame are. Is that what you planned to use?

That is what I am talking about. I will more than likely just bond it to the windshield and body to look like it is screwed in.

If you mean like in this thread:

http://www.uniquecobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8250

Unique has them. Call them at 256-546-3708

They also have the brace that the rearview mirror clamps onto...

Good luck!

WOW, if that picture is what they sell than I will make it myself. That looks like crap!!!!
It looks like it was an afterthought and someone just grabbed a scrap piece of metal lying around.
