289 windsheild emblem

I trying to replicate a 289 slabside and I'm hoping someone would have a picture of where the "Elliot" windshield emblem is mounted. Thanks,

John O

Nevermind, found it. Thanks Rinsey Mills. :D

Hey John
You should post a pic for future reference.

Could you post a picture so others like me have an idea where to place it?

Thanks

jolsen42 01-17-2013 08:27 PM

Sorry guys I don't have a picture. There is a picture in the "Original AC ACE & Cobra" book by Rinsey Mills. As per the book, "The badge is fitted to the top rail of the windscreen frame". It is dead center on this rail and is pictured on page 40. Hope this helps.

289 should be an Elliot. John Chuck lists them.

Oops, started a bit of a storm there! Yes, incorrect (ish - it depends) badge, but correct position.
