Looks great David, now you can hook up that other tank pickup. Did you use the ethanol proof rebuild parts? Are you replacing the level gauge with a pressure?

Outstanding job! Are you using an isolator in the fuel pressure line ?

Your pump rebuild is out standing, great job! What a great car the HiTech is and in my opinion one of the best out there and yours looks super.

Very nice compliment. I value your opinion.

Hey David I powdercoated the isolator gray and hid it in behind the back of the turkey pan. I'll get you some pics, it hides pretty well.

That just looks fantastic. This is an aspect of these cars that I don't typically don't see done to spec. Very nicely done!

Awesome job David. I was actually thinking of sending my two pumps out for a rebuild but you may have inspired me to buy the rebuild kit instead!! I really like your flow and load tester. Once again, great job.

Fantastic job, 601HP!
Thanks for sharing.

Miles better than Facets or bogus gutted shells with modern guts. And apparently no more work than the dummies when done by a bright guy.

601HP 09-11-2013 08:56 PM

I have to admit I was so pleased with the installed pair. And it's just so darn nice to have you guys speak well of the project!

Truth be told, pumps #3 and #4 are on the work bench. Now that I've segued into retirement, these may turn into a small venture for me. **):3DSMILE:

I'm pleased to have been the inspiration for a great job David and the gold powder coating looks terrific. :)

Did you get your rebuild kits from Andrew at GT40 Gold Parts?

Paul,
I didn't. There's a stateside source available to me. But, that source is gaskets only. Andrew is currently the only vendor for those other pump-friendly items he's made available.
