289 timing cover
Can anyone tell me whether the aluminium timing cover on a '64 289 Hipo should be painted black with the rest of the motor, or left aluminium finish? Every old timing cover I have seems to be natural metal finish. I thought the engines were painted black after assembly. Anyone?
