Throttle Pedal Lever
I am working on the next phase of my project, a correct throttle pedal and linkage. The pedal is a weldment of strap iron onto a 1/2" dia tube. That pedal/shaft assy appears to slip into another tube "welded" to the housing bracket. There is no visible means of it bolting into the bracket. But this is a very unusual way of assemblying items - normally pivoting stuff gets bolted or clipped together, not welded.

In my mind, it appears there is about a 3/4" tube welded to the bracket, then the lever shaft is slipped into it and the lever end then welded onto the shaft. Not very user friendly if you needed to disassemble. Can anyone add more info or close up photos of the joint Thanks Paul |
