Default Tojeiro 001

I didn't know if this was the original original?! Thought it might be of interest over here.

That's a facinating story. Thank you for that.

It kind of interested me as to the condition and the value of something like that. I was wondering if it's comparable to 2287 where survivor status is kicking in and straightening side pipes or new parts are starting to depreciate the originality and value? It looks cheap for such a unique and historical vehicle but looks expensive as an incomplete and poor condition old car???????

Although Tojiero did design and build a sports car that used the 166 Ferrari "Barchetta" as the basis for his body design, and that evolved into the design finally purchased by AC, this particular car, 001, is not that car. Basger

Just to confirm Badgers comments - a Tojeiro did indeed evolve into the AC Ace and thence into the Cobra - but it was not this Tojeiro.
