what year is the 'current registry' from? I have one and I think it is from 2008.......

That's the same one I have. It says towards the end of the write up that it was fitted with 2x4 carb setup. Is that the carb setup it has today?
Larry

A belated welcome, Tom.
The more owners of original cars on this forum, the better! There are great resources for information here.
I would offer to send you pictures of 2075....but then of course you're at ground zero :3DSMILE:

Cheers,
Glen

Larry,
it has two Holley carbs at the moment.

TOSH 02-22-2018 01:27 PM

Sorry to say Glen but I am afraid my English is not good enough to get your joke (?) about the pictures/ground zero
Best
Tom

Tosh - he means that it would be a bit pointless for him to send you pictures of 2075 when you have the real car right there to look at in person.

xb-60 02-23-2018 03:24 AM

Thanks Buzz.
It also means that I like 2075 sufficiently to have some nice pictures of it in my 'Cobra collection' :)

Cheers,
Glen

Thanks Buzz and sure Glen, as soon as the car is in my garage I will post some pics with its McFallo race livery............if I am able to decode the livery of the rear fender which I am not able to read from the old pics.
Cheers
Tom

Glen, I am sure if we would have a ride in the Cobra we both will find expressions that are the same in every language! Cobra passion needs no words!

xb-60 02-24-2018 01:44 AM

TOSH, my new Cobra friend.....next time I'm in Germany, I'll look you and CSX2075 up and we can go for that drive.
Next time you're in Australia, you must contact me and we can go for a drive in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in my 289FIA replica. Deal?

Cheers,
Glen

TOSH 02-25-2018 10:41 AM

DEAL!
I have never been to Australia, so now there is one more reason to come!
Looking forward to meeting you.

All the best
Tom

Ok, you two, (Tosh, xb-60) I'll make the same deal. If either of you get to the Northwest (Washington State) of the US. I'll take you guy's out for a trip around our area in my 427 Street car. Mountains, Ocean, and Desert, all within a 2hour trip. Deal? We always have room for Cobra owners ;) Tom.

Be careful. The last time I heard of someone taking a two hour tour it didn't turn out so well. Unless you like being trapped on a desert island. Why did the Howells take all that stuff on a harbor cruise?

Alfa02 02-25-2018 02:29 PM

Thanks Tony, So well said :) Don't you think, if they were that well off, they would have extra stuff placed all over the world (Even on a desert island)? And why didn't they take their own yacht? Makes you think ;).

Ok, Tom & Glen sounds like a plan. My best buddy (Tiger owner), has a 2nd. home in NZ. We were talking about shipping my V-8 powered (Ford 302) Mazda Rx-7 over next year, to have something fun to drive "Over the Hill" Whatever that means??? so we could stop in Australia on the way over (Ross fly's in there) and then over to NZ. Our best weather is July, and we happen to have our vintage races that month too. Let me know boy's when you want to get over here, Tom too, or Tom-2 ;)
